Full CAT B Mechanical Installation

The team delivered the CAT B mechanical works at 24 Hills Road in Cambridge for Inside Limited, on behalf of Royal London.

The project transformed a newly refurbished CAT A office into a premium, fully fitted workspace featuring exposed services, open-plan layouts, and high-quality finishes designed for flexibility and occupant comfort. 

Working collaboratively with Inside Limited and the wider design team, the team provided a complete mechanical installation including:

• New supply and extract ductwork, diffusers, and fan-coil units coordinated with the exposed ceiling layout
• Chilled- and LTHW pipework distribution modified to suit new office zoning
• Controls integration and full HVAC commissioning to tie into the base-build BMS
• Close coordination with electrical and architectural trades to maintain the interior aesthetic
   

The works were carefully planned and delivered within a live city-centre environment, managing deliveries and noisy works to minimise disruption.
